Wednesday she was Exhibit A in the pile of evidence that the Democrats are ready for new Congressional leadership. Pelosi has been in Congress for 13 terms. She is a pioneer and has been criticized for a lot of the wrong reasons. But Wednesday she was certainly bereft of the impressive fire she brought to the House two and a half decades ago.
