For Hearst’s 125th anniversary, a new documentary

Wednesday, September 12, 2012

That’s the promo for the new documentary about Hearst Corp., parent of the Chronicle, as the media conglomerate launched by William Randolph Hearst celebrates its 125th anniversary. It premiers at the Hamptons International Film Festival in New York next month, but I suspect it won’t be long before you can find it on a more accessible art house screen.

It’s directed by Leslie Iwerks (Pipe Dreams, The Pixar Story) in conjunction with Hearst Corp. Jim Romenesko posts the press release.
