Another wacky tale from the former Your Black Muslim Bakery crime organization in Oakland: convicted killer and former bakery boss Yusuf Bey IV, 26, is purportedly trying to revive it from behind bars. The Mercury News says a Los Angeles man named Lloyd Davis has registered a website on which are posted messages attributed to Bey IV in which he vows the bakery’s resurrection with “a surprise in store (for) friends and enemies.”
Bey IV, convicted for masterminding the murder of journalist Chauncey Bailey and two other men, is serving life sentences at Salinas Valley State Prison in Soledad.
