Counting the Bay Area politicos who gave speeches at the Democratic National Convention: there’s Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, Barbara Lee, and yesterday, a certain Current TV cable show host not named Gavin Newsom. Listening to former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm scream her way through most of six minutes, you might think she hadn’t left “the great state of Michigan” for the East Bay.
