LA station switches feed to KCBS San Francisco after evacuation

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Los Angeles is getting a dose of San Francisco radio this morning. After a suspicious package forced the evacuation of LA all-news radio station KNX, forcing its news anchors to evacuate the building, the 50,000-watt station switched listeners to the broadcast feed of KCBS Radio, its San Francisco sister station. The evacuation occurred about 9 a.m. As of a few minutes ago, they were awaiting the bomb squad down south. AP
