Lawmaker gives up mansion for tiny studio to stay in her district (or did she?)

Friday, September 21, 2012

GetprevThat’s Republican state Sen. Mimi Walters, who claims to have moved from her 14,000 square foot manse in Orange County into a 570 square foot studio apartment that her opponent, Democrat Steve Young, says “has no dishwasher, and no washer dryer hook ups.” (Did we mention her legislative district got re-drawn?) He wants her off the ballot and points out that her Senate website says “she and her husband, David, live in Irvine with their four children.” PolitiCal

When the kids come to the studio, wonder who does the dishes.
