Here’s something you won’t see in a Chevron ad anytime soon: the company agreed to install six air monitoring stations at its Richmond refinery back in 2010, but it didn’t get it done. The Bay Citizen’s Jennifer Gollan says the absence of the monitors may have slowed warnings about the danger of pollutants released during the Aug. 6 refinery fire.
