The Warriors’ new developmental league franchise, the Santa Cruz Warriors, has sold 600 season tickets so far. Not bad for a team that’s technically still in North Dakota (the Wizards) and which doesn’t yet have a place to play. Santa Cruz’s city council cleared the way last night to build a temporary 3,000-seat pavilion on a downtown parking lot (that’s the mockup above) and it’s supposed to be ready by Dec. 23, when Santa Cruz hosts the Bakersfield Jam.
