Remember that bill that San Francisco Assemblywoman Fiona Ma sponsored to try and ease her Sacramento commute? You know, the one that would abolish the weekday morning carpool lane eastbound on I-80 between the Bay Bridge and Carquinez Bridge. She's taken plenty of heat for it. And today Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed it, saying it takes energy conservation in the “wrong direction.” Capitol Alert
