1% news: San Jose exec paid $150,000 a year to commute from Connecticut

Robert Young is CEO at Tessera Technologies Inc., which lost $8.5 million in the first half of the year. He had total compensation of $1.6 million last year. And $150,000 of that is a transportation stipend to help him commute to work—from his home in New England. SF Business Times
