A’s, Giants could come back, but Lew Wolff might be beyond redemption

Monday, October 8, 2012

Not a great start for the Giants or the A’s, each 0-2 with their backs to the wall in the playoffs. The Giants are at Cincinnati Tuesday; the A’s are home against Detroit.

If the Giants go down, there’ll be disappointment. If the A’s go down, there’ll be disappointment and anger at perhaps the ultimate act of fan support sabotage yet from the team’s Oakland-hating ownership. What else can you say about management (fronted by Lew Wolff, pictured) that says it’ll turn away thousands of fans eager to see the A’s play Tuesday night rather than remove the tarps in the upper deck of the Coliseum?
