You may recall the San Mateo Community College District’s announcement back in May that it intends to sell KCSM, its independent public television station? Almost ever since, advocacy group Media Alliance has been trying to get the district to fulfill its public records request for information about potential bidders, with no success.
Last night the board rejected all bids, essentially deciding to start over, apparently having second thoughts about a process that so far has been shrouded in secrecy. Here’s the board agenda, and here’s an update from Media Alliance.
