The most ballyhooed big box store opening in the history of American commerce gets still more treatment in the Chronicle today. For its “soft opening,” John King weighs in on Target’s role within the renovated Metreon.

Warning for those suffering from TMF (Target media fatigue): the “official” opening isn’t until Sunday.
