  • An Asian partnership led by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund agreed to buy a 92 percent stake in downtown’s 101 California Street tower for $851 million. SF Business Times
  • San Bruno and San Francisco officials, as well as consumer watchdogs called for former Sen. George Mitchell to withdraw as mediator between state regulators and PG&E in the pipeline damage case, saying his law firm has a conflict of interest. Mercury News
  • A California surfer was killed Tuesday by a shark off a beach at coastal Vandenberg Air Force Base near Lompoc. AP
  • A man on trial for attempting to murder a 90-year-old Greenbrae man during an alleged burglary attempt filed a civil suit against his alleged victim, claiming that he was “negligently” shot during the purported crime. Marin IJ
