Newsweek to cease print publication at year’s end

The last print edition of the venerable news weekly, founded in 1933, will roll off the presses at the end of December. The all-digital version will be called Newsweek Global and operated on a paid subscription model. Tina Brown, founder of The Daily Beast website and the mover-shaker behind its merger with Newsweek, announced the move this morning. Media Decoder
