Pete Stark’s ‘rubber duckie’ attack on challenger

Monday, October 22, 2012

The mercurial 80-year-old incumbent congressman, who’s in the re-election fight of his life against fellow Democrat Eric Swalwell, is chiding the Alameda County prosecutor and Dublin councilman for handing out rubber ducks as part of his campaign. From Steven Tavares at East Bay Citizen:

Citing a portion of Swalwell’s plan for creating jobs, contained on his campaign website that states, “Rebuilding American manufacturing is the key in rebuilding our economy,” the Stark campaign asks, “So are Eric’s rubber duckies made in the U.S.? No, not at all.”
