President Obama travels Monday to the town of Keene, in the Tehachapi foothills east of Bakersfield, to dedicate a national monument to Cesar Chavez at the labor leader’s gravesite and former home. The 187-acre site, known as La Paz, is where Chavez ran the United Farm Workers union and lived from the early ‘70s until his death in 1993. Fresno Bee
