Radio talker Michael Savage signs deal with Cumulus

Thursday, October 18, 2012

The San Francisco-based ultra-right wing ranter, whose “The Savage Nation” went off the air last month after he won a legal battle with his former employer, has signed a new syndication deal with Atlanta-based Cumulus Media Networks. Media Decoder says Savage’s show will begin on at least 20 Cumulus stations (it operates 525) and could end up on hundreds more.

No word on when, or if, Savage will pop up locally. Cumulus operates KGO, where Savage worked years ago, as a mostly news station. A better bet: Talk station sibling KSFO.
