Ex-mayor: Speech to youth, then back to trial on corruption charges

Kwame Kilpatrick, the disgraced ex-mayor of Detroit who’s already served more than a year in prison and is currently facing trial on dozens of federal corruption charges, took time out over the weekend  . . . to hit the redemption speech-for-hire circuit in the Bay Area. He spoke at Richmond City Hall to about 80 people. Contra Costa Times writes about it.
