He’s trounced, but Ignacio De La Fuente refuses to concede

Robert Gammon at East Bay Express calls it ridiculous that Ignacio De La Fuente, loser by a landslide to Rebecca Kaplan in his attempt to capture her at-large Oakland city council seat, so far won’t concede and congratulate her while saying he’s waiting for all the votes to be counted. Gammon offers a compelling reason for saying so: Overtaking Kaplan, he says, is “statistically impossible.”
