Keeping people from showing genitals in public is fascist, says naked lady

Tuesday, November 6, 2012

Photo: San Francisco lawmakers moved one step closer to banning public nudity today. A supervisor's committee decided to urge the full board to pass the proposal after one supe said there are too many naked guys in his district.

What do you think about public nudity?

SF supes closer to banning public nudity --> http://bit.ly/PSIBHKThat’s nudist activist Gypsy Taub, who disrobed at the Board of Supervisors’ Neighborhood Services Committee yesterday screaming “Down with Scott Wiener!” and calling the supervisor a fascist. Her ire? Wiener’s proposed new county law that would restrict people from displaying their genitals on San Francisco’s sidewalks, plazas, parklets, streets and public transportation. (It would still be legal to do so at parades, festivals and street fairs.)

The committee gave Wiener’s proposal unanimous support, which means Taub and other "body freedom” activists, including that little colony of naked guys in the Castro district who like to expose themselves, will have their chance before the entire board Nov. 20. Chronicle
