Mark Davis says the ‘pain in my ass’ is easing, but he still owns the Raiders

Monday, November 19, 2012

In a locker room interview after yesterday’s 38-17 Raiders beatdown by New Orleans, the seldom heard new owner and son of Al issues an apology to fans and fields a wide range of questions. (Mercury News has the transcript.) After somehow being drawn into talking about a recent operation, Davis says this:

"It's been a two-year process. I had a sciatic nerve problem, a pain in my ass. And I had surgery five months ago, and it didn't fix it. And, then, so they took pictures again, they found a big cyst-tumor right on the sciatic nerve."
