Remember a short time ago, before Joe Lacob et al came along, that the Warriors under former owner Chris Cohan were widely considered to be the managerial laughingstock of the NBA? Looks like the Lakers are bidding for that territory after firing Mike Brown five games into the season and then going tacky on coaching legend Phil Jackson (pictured) before choosing . . . Mike D’Antoni as their coach. Whew. LA Times
