For the second time in two years San Francisco International Airport has been found to have misspent federal stimulus money. The latest: It’s being forced to return $2.1 million of the $14.5 million in funds the Federal Aviation Administration authorized to improve runways and taxiways. Zusha Elinson at The Bay Citizen, who writes about it, says it’s unclear just what the money was spent on.
