That ‘river of rain’ finally comes

Friday, November 30, 2012

Tree down after storm in OaklandLots of snarled roadways and downed power lines around the Bay Area (that's an Oakland street in the ABC 7 still) as the rain continues to fall. A sampling of rainfall totals the last 24 hours, as of 8:30 this morning: up to 7.5 inches in parts of Sonoma County, 5.8 inches in parts of Napa County, six inches in Lexington Hills, just south of Los Gatos, with mostly lesser but substantial amounts so far in most other places. Mercury News has a morning update. CBS 5 has a nice map showing current conditions. More:
