Not often is a network’s election night coverage notable for . . . one of its co-anchor’s seemingly impaired on-air demeanor. So far ABC isn’t commenting but as the clip shows, Diane Sawyer spoke very slowly throughout the night, referred at least once to “President Barack,” and (toward the end of this clip) referred to him as President “Orama.” AP recaps, noting that the Twitterverse lit up with speculation that she was medicated and/or tipsy.
