As Tribune Co. prepares to come out of bankruptcy, potential suitors for the company’s newspapers, and especially the Los Angles Times, are lining up quietly behind the scenes. The Orange County Register parses likely contestants, including—it should be noted—ex-greeting card mogul and new Register owner/publisher Aaron Kushner.
