Your toll money at work: estimate for MTC’s new digs soars to $218 million

Something to think about the next time you pass a toll booth: That pricy new San Francisco headquarters for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission that your bridge toll money is being spent on is getting more pricy. Estimated cost is now $218 million, up $51 million from an estimate a year ago, the Chronicle says.
