California jobless rate dips to 9.8 percent

Many of the unemployed have college degrees!First, the good news. California’s 9.8 percent jobless rate in November is the lowest it’s been in four years. Not so good: Only two states—Rhode Island and Nevada—are worse. Latest state-by-state rankings from the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics here.
