Judge Katherine Feinstein retiring—politics next?

Judge Katherine Feinstein, 55, is retiring from San Francisco Superior Court after 12 years on the bench and the Chronicle speculates at some length about whether she might enter politics. She certainly looks like a U. S. senator—namely, a younger version of her mother, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who’s 79 and would be 85 on election day in 2018, if she were to run again.
