After a 14-year-old boy was stabbed near San Jose’s Christmas in the Park festivities over the weekend, a police spokesman told the Mercury News that “we get so many stabbings, this is just another one added to the pile” and “we may not even investigate it.” Uh, he’s now walking that one back, saying he misspoke.
