The coach who turned around San Jose State’s moribund football program in three years to have them 10-2 and bowl-bound this season has accepted the head coaching position at Colorado, ESPN says. He’s to be introduced in Boulder at a 3 p.m. (PST) presser. Mercury News says he told the team early this morning that a job offer was on the table, but that he wasn’t around for the team’s workout.
