Selling it: PG&E pitches office consolidation as a safety upgrade

Tuesday, December 18, 2012

PG&E some months back announced it was consolidating a lot of its workers in huge new offices in San Ramon, in the same Bishop Ranch mega-office park that’s home to Chevron. Now they’re apparently selling the move—to be completed the middle of next year—as a safety upgrade, post-San Bruno. A utility exec tells the Mercury News’ George Avalos that a new pipeline operations center there will operate around the clock.

Does that mean they’re now going home at 5?
