At City College of San Francisco, doomsday-prepping begins

The prospect that CCSF, with its 40,000 students, could lose accreditation and be forced to close in the fall or be placed on probation has become a bit more real. That’s after a draft closure report outlining steps the college would take in the event the plug is pulled was made public over the holiday weekend. The report is 14 pages and, among other things, outlines how the college would “in good faith” help faculty and staff find jobs elsewhere, which should give them pause. If it belly-flops as an educational institution, nothing suggests it’ll be any good at employment services. Chronicle
