Mountain lion sightings are fairly common in the Bay Area. But not often do you get a picture of one at close range. The photo is from Jan. 11, at the Blue Oak Ranch Reserve, a former cattle ranch in the hills east of San Jose where UC faculty and students conduct research. Mercury News writes about it.
