Could it have been much worse for San Jose airport’s long-awaited and much-ballyhooed unveiling of its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner service between San Jose and Tokyo? Probably not. Just four days—or four trips—after All Nippon Airways inaugurated the service last Friday, all flights involving Boeing’s troubled new airliner have been temporarily grounded in Japan. That’s after an emergency landing involving one of the aircraft from another airline following a flight within Japan. Mercury News writes about it.
