Bogut returns to help Warriors win; Curry hurt

Monday, January 28, 2013

Now please don’t tell us his ankle is swollen in the morning. Andrew Bogut made his long-anticipated return to the Warriors lineup today in Toronto—after an absence of 38 games—and was a difference maker in the 114-102 victory. The big guy had 12 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots in just under 24 minutes of play. More importantly, he didn’t appear to limp any while running.

Good thing, too, since Stephen Curry tweaked his injury-prone right ankle and had to sit out the last 15 plus minutes of the game. Early word is that Curry is wait-and-see for Tuesday night’s game at Cleveland. Chronicle; Mercury News
