That crackdown by the city attorney on restaurants that have collected more than they’ve spent on health care for their workers under the Healthy San Francisco healthcare program is already a PR nightmare for a lot of eateries—guilty or not. Herrera hasn’t disclosed exactly which restaurants are under scrutiny (presumably they’re ones where it’s believed owners have pocketed money under false pretenses). He’s working from a list of 93 restaurants identified as having collected more than they’ve paid out. The Chronicle posts the list here, along with a story.
