Jim Harbaugh and the art of saying nothing

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

From the bottomless pit of sports blather in advance of the Super Bowl the best 49ers-related piece I’ve seen so far this week comes from the Wall Street Journal’s Kevin Clark, analyzing Jim Harbaugh’s ability to divulge nothing to the media in a variety of ways. Harbaugh’s schtick wore thin a long time ago, but no one complains much because he’s winning. This week, however, the media hordes are so obnoxious, even a smirking Harbaugh cuts a sympathetic figure.
