Friday, January 25, 2013

Here’s how you take care of that. At a low-profile meeting of San Francisco’s Public Utilities Commission this week, commissioners approved a plan to block the draining of the reservoir unless all 26 cities and water districts in the region that receive Hetch Hetchy water give their approval. Discussion time: 13 minutes.

Mercury News’ Paul Rogers says it “could be the political death knell” for environmentalists’ efforts to drain the reservoir.
