Under pressure, PG&E expected to settle remaining San Bruno cases

PG&E fought to take punitive damages off the table in lawsuits brought by survivors of the utility’s deadly 2010 San Bruno pipeline explosion and fire—and got smacked down. Now plaintiffs attorneys say the utility will likely settle the remaining claims from 320 residents, rather than risk shelling out millions of dollars more at trial. Mercury News writes about it.
