Warriors hit speed bump.
Or is it a wall?

Thursday, January 17, 2013

That odor coming from Oracle Arena last night wasn’t fireplace smoke on a Spare the Air night. The Warriors stunk it up by themselves, playing without Stephen Curry, who sprained his injury-prone right ankle in practice after coming down on Festus Ezeli’s foot. The 92-75 score wasn’t reflective of the drubbing; it was more like a LeBron James highlight reel for the ESPN cameras than a basketball game.

The Warriors have now lost four of their last five while looking ugly, with tough games ahead. The topper: Curry is out “indefinitely” until the ankle heals. Chronicle; Mercury News
