The Chronicle runs the numbers and determines that Bay Area bridge commuters will pay $37 for each of the 150,000 people expected to walk across the new Bay Bridge east span during the Labor Day opening celebration. That’s the breakdown of the $5.6 million in toll money that’s being spent on the affair. Chronicle

If people who walk across the bridge had to pay $37, wonder how many would show up?
