Curtains for Embarcadero eatery: Fog City Diner to close

Thursday, February 7, 2013

After nearly 28 years, the landmark diner at Battery and the Embarcadero, is closing. Its last day is March 15. Co-owner Bill Higgins tells Inside Scoop SF that the iconic restaurant had its run but is no longer suited to current dining expectations. He and his partners will keep the property and totally revamp the place. The new restaurant to rise on the site will be called Fog City.
