Field Poll: Californians more optimistic than they’ve been in six years

A new Field Poll finds Californians more optimistic than they’ve been in six years, which is to say 48 percent of registered voters believe the state is headed in the right direction. The poll reflects particularly well on Jerry Brown’s tenure as governor inasmuch as the number of folks who see it that way has increased four-fold since the eve of his taking office. Mercury News
