Bolt blamed for cable car accident, Jerry Brown says he’ll build a house in Colusa County, cops name person of interest—who’s dead—in Kevin Collins disappearance, more.

  • A bolt stuck in the track is being blamed for an accident yesterday in which a cable car carrying about 40 passengers came to a sudden stop near Nob Hill, injuring seven people. AP
  • New toll equipment installation on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge could cause extra traffic delays starting Friday and until March 5. Contra Costa Times
