San Francisco Magazine: Media, Politics

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

The March issue of San Francisco Magazine is on the streets with a profile of Supervisor Scott Wiener beyond the whole anti-public nudity thing. The piece by Melissa Griffin posits that while Wiener is neither board president nor the most prolific lawmaker among the supes, he’s arguably the board’s most influential and important member. She also says he’s maybe the most divisive supervisor since Aaron Peskin and Chris Daly.

Also in the issue: a media piece by yours truly on the city’s newest newspaper mogul, Todd Vogt (pictured above). He’s the brash Examiner co-owner who, with fellow Canadian partners, now also owns the city’s once-warring Bay Guardian and SF Weekly.
