Maybe you’ve seen one of the 11 volunteers that walk dogs up and down the terminals a few hours a week. The program, which began after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, runs on donations that mostly go for uniforms for the dogs that have embroidered slogans like “Pet me I’m friendly.” Mercury news writes about it.
