The Texas governor and failed GOP presidential nominee is to hit the Bay Area, Silicon Valley and Southern California during four days starting Sunday in his much-ballyhooed attempt to lure California businesses to Texas. The governor’s office calls it a “business recruitment trip” but says no tax dollars will be spent. It’s a follow to Perry’s radio spot in California media markets that’s aired for several days.
