Apparently not for developer Lennar, which is pushing the idea of blasting the landmark stadium to smithereens next year not long after the 49ers’ last game there—to make way for a . . . shopping center. Now for a laugher. The cutline for the Lennar photo that accompanies a Matier & Ross item in the Chronicle says the future site is “billed as resembling [the] downtown Walnut Creek shopping district.” To quote the great Charles Barkley, C’mon man.
